It`s up to you to decide what`s in your NDIS plan what mix of support services will be included in your service contract with us. Mind offers many services that can be funded by the NDIS and tailored to your needs. We have many options within our main types of service for you to “choose and mix”. You don`t need to use all types of services, but together we believe they offer a holistic approach to mental health and wellness – and can help you achieve a better life. Psychiatrists, consultants and peer educators assist you, which can be provided as an outreach service or through one of our mental health and wellbeing centres. Note: If you are not an NDIS participant, you can purchase these services for a direct fee, but you must still enter into a service contract with Mind. Mind can help you get the most out of your NDIS plan. Your support coordinator connects you to a number of services and providers and can manage your service agreements with them. In mind centers, you can also learn about our help at home and in community support services, our short-stay retirement recovery and Connect Up group leisure activities (a great way to have fun while you meet people). If you`re an NDIS participant, we can help you get the most out of your plan and determine which services best match your core NDIS-funded media or capacity building budgets. We can support people with very complex needs with comprehensive assessment, intervention, positive behavioural support, care planning and coordination.
We encourage capacity development and positive risk-taking and help the person become a dedicated and contributing member of their community. We can also provide other nurses with positive behavioural support training. The daily support that helps you save your life. Mind provides help at home and in the community where your Mind collaborator comes to you to help you develop your skills and confidence in daily practical activities. We are currently doing a number of activities, such as: At Mind, we have 40 years of experience in helping people with severe mental illness and cognitive impairments, as well as their families and other caregivers. We also offer NDIS-funded therapeutic support from occupational therapists and psychologists. Our team includes people who have made their own convalescent journey and have faced similar challenges and who can share their knowledge and knowledge with you (as well as with your family and other caregivers). The proposed activities are decided on site for the benefit of Connect Up participants.
Also, something simple like a coffee in a café or a walk in the park can be a good start to build a better life. Connect Up leisure and leisure activities can be purchased through an NDIS support package. If you are not an NDIS participant, you can continue to purchase Connect Up activities directly.
